focus groups
A research strategy which involves intensive discussion and interviewing of small groups of people, on a given ‘focus’ or issue, usually on a number of occasions over a period of time. The technique is fully expounded in both, Focus Groups as Qualitative Research (1988) and, Focus Groups: A Practical Guide (1988).
